"'Still Here' shines in its commitment to star-gazing whimsy."

More Fractures More Fractures

Melbourne multi-instrumentalist and producer Fractures has released a much-anticipated debut album that delivers.

Applauded for his bedroom intimacy in both sound and lyrical confessions, Still Here shines in its commitment to star-gazing whimsy. Alchemy and Lowcast are highlights on the album for their catchy yet panoramic soundscapes. Apnea is also a standout: angry and jarring, the track shows off the artist's pacing and adaptability. Coral, closing the album, really pushes against this pace and slows down. The effect is frustrating. It leaves the listener, like Fractures, looking for closure.
