Twenty-something singer-songwriter Louisa Rose Allen – otherwise known as Foxes – creates dance-influenced pop songs, powered by her gorgeously strong vocals, edgy and dark enough to separate her from her female pop counterparts. Glorious, her first album, is filled with anthemic, rousing numbers, many with the potential to be alternative club-bangers or radio favourites. It does follow a lot of the same formula at times though, but the deluxe edition breathes further life into the album, providing a few extra memorable moments in Beauty Queen, In Her Arms and a beautiful live version of her breakthrough collaboration with Zedd, Clarity.
