If you’re familiar with them, go back and listen; if you haven’t heard them before, check it out.

Coming from an alternative/pop-country band that was about a quarter of a century ahead of the curve, a “best releases” album could really only be a good thing. Each and every one of the tracks on the album is musically sound and it's evident from this reboot-release where Australia's modern country scene got its inspiration: Either as forerunners or peers, the Flying Emus were a seminal band of their time and scene and this album reminds us why. If you're familiar with them, go back and listen; if you haven't heard them before, check it out.
