Live Review: MP3: Feist - How Come You Never Go There (Beck Remix)

Multi instrumentalist Beck has just remixed the subtle, soft-spoken Feist single 'How Come You Never Go There'

Well known for a funky/oily approach to all of his productions; singer songwriter and multi, multi instrumentalist BECK has just put out a collaboration with FEIST for a remix of her subtle, soft-spoken single 'How Come You Never Go There'. The original is the kind of track you hear on frequently the radio and although you remember the hook - you don't necessarily remember what its called or who its by.

Beck's version makes sure you'll never forget, he's added in some wonky tuba parts holding together stuttery unsure marching drums which sit beautifully underneath Feist's vocals. It's sounding very Jamie XX/SBTRKT with Beck's organic technique still very much present - is he maybe trying to go 2011 on us?
