Album Review: Féfé - Le Charme Des Premiers Jours

The first two seconds are filled with an electric guitar riff that'd be at home anywhere, from an Arctic Monkeys record to a Kanye West single. When Féfé's vocals cut through, though, it's clear we're here to listen to a new voice.

Once part of French hip hop clique Saïan Supa Crew, the man born Samuël Adebiyi has been releasing music since 1996, yet Le Charme… is only his second solo full-length. It's fun, Adebiyi switching from rap verses to soulful choruses like a French-language Drake.

Francophiles rejoice; everyone else stand up and take notice.
