"Exodus are rising from the dead"
While Zetro may have taken time away from the band, his manic vocals remain the pinnacle of Bay Area thrash. Exodus’ 11th full-length is a much welcomed return to form, full of razor-blade riffs and bone-busting beats. The album manages to sneak in a few interesting surprises here and there, but Holt and Altus are at their best when trading harmonic blows, with evil solos crawling over tight rhythms. This is classic Exodus songwriting, with the bombastic, polished production they always deserved. While other old-schoolers are digging their graves, Exodus are rising from the dead.
