Live Review: EXCLUSIVE: Oh Mercy 'Deep Heat' Album Teaser

We can't get enough of OH MERCY at the moment and it seems Alexander and co. really like us back. It's the start of a brilliant love affair.

But enough about our swooning tendencies, we're here because the Melbourne 4-piece have asked us to premiere teaser number 2 for their new album, Deep Heat. And obviously we were more than happy to do it.

Volume 1 of the teaser gave us very little, literally it was just some snippets of showgirls dancing, and static. But luckily in the time between teasers, the band have released lead single 'Drums' and an accompanying clip - as well as announcing a massive Australian tour to coincide with the albums release date later this month.

In the latest installment from the Oh Mercy camp, you get exactly what you're looking for. Some babes being babes and more importantly three new tracks from Deep Heat. In between all the static, sexual innuendo and old school television extracts - you can wrap your ears around 'Pilgrims Blues', 'Europa' and 'Suffocated'. And from the sounds of things, it's another step in the matured direction Alexander Gow is heading with his writing ability as well as the entire bands instrumentation.

The album is out August 24, but be assured that the band will have more tricks up their sleeves for when the highly anticipated record is released. It's safe to say that we're incredibly excited about it, and after you check out the video below - we're pretty sure you'll be excited as well.
