Album Review: Elisabeth Dixon - LP 1

StarStarStarStar

"A masterfully executed techno record."

Elisabeth's Dixon's LP 1 is a masterfully executed techno record.

Self-produced, recorded and mixed, Limit Experience begins with a quiet, undulating bassline that develops into a dance beat as mysterious ambient sounds weave through the tune. Dispose is darker and more driving, inciting a heart-pumping groove, before a memorable rhythmic melody cuts in. Technique Of Self will have your hair standing on end while alluring vocal sounds are cut into the mix. The near-eight-minute expo is the focal point of the album, thematically exploring a feminine interpretation of emotive tension. Dixon will definitely be dominating club dancefloors with this album.
