Since his first release, Eddie Skiba has developed into a full rock band and this time around he has some tidy production behind him.
There's a neat theme focusing on the concept of society segregating people into categories. The centrepiece, the single, Rattle The Cage, is a hook-laden piece of pop that goes to the heart of the matter of sameness versus standing out from the crowd. Among his influences, Skiba lists late social commentator Christopher Hitchens and Lawrence Krauss, so you get the feeling he'd rather sing songs with a message than just pop.
