Album Review: Dub FX - Thinking Clear

More Dub FX Dub FX Profile

Thinking Clear kicks off with fast-paced drum'n'bass breaks.

Road To Babylon is doused in reggae vibes, while still maintaining choppy breakbeats and some whizzy sci-fi sounds. Heat Wave is a dub track, with samples of waves rolling onto the beach developing the slow burning tune to a barrage of brass sounds and timbale drums. Where I Belong is a down beat, trumpet-driven song with soothing vocals. Thinking Clear is full of varied fun, from drum'n'bass, to dub, to glitch to hip hop and other experimentation, ultimately showcasing Dub FX's unique prowess as a producer.
