‘I Have To Go Rogue Every Single Time’: Peach PRC Reflects On The Past As She Steps Into Her New Era

Live Review: DRELLER 'One Night Stand' (Official Video)

Terrible Records just keep kicking goals, they have to be one of the most exciting labels we've come across in aaaages. DRELLER is just another example.

This is usually the point where I'd give some background info on DRELLER, but I can't really find anything other than this bio on the Terrible Records website:

"DRELLER is a multi-instrumentalist, animator and film maker based in London. A first glimpse into the world of DRELLER is revealed through the short animated film ‘One Night Stand’, which accompanies the song of the same name due for release this autumn via Terrible Records (US) and Goodbye Records (RoW). DRELLER is credited with creating everything, audio and visual, on the debut release."

I can't even find a write-up on Pitchfork, Stereogum etc. Am I missing something here? Have I fallen into some kind of DRELLER/blog matrix? Regardless, to have Terrible and Goodbye Records (Chvrches label) backing you is enough to prick my goddamn excitement.

'One Night Stand' itself is a beautiful introduction to DRELLER, as the five minutes play out in a sultry and soothing way. A strong vocal range and simple groove based instrumentation is on show, mixed with powerful lyrical content and excellent delivery. It's like those shitty slow new Daft Punk tracks were thrown in with Radiohead songwriting and trap beats.

Check it out below with some warped illustrations as a visual accompaniment:

'One Night Stand' is out now via Terrible Records/Goodbye Records.
