After 15 years spent toiling on the follow-up to his 1999 classic 2001, hip hop's first billionaire Dr. Dre needed a circuit breaker.

It finally came in the form of new NWA biopic Straight Outta Compton. Suddenly inspired, he binned the mythical 'Detox', went back to his roots and created Compton: A Soundtrack, his 'grand finale'. Featuring a host of West Coast legends including Kendrick Lamar, Snoop and Ice Cube, Dre has created a brilliant, widescreen synopsis of his beloved city.
