Album Review: Dom Miller - Clap Your Hands

For adults whose secret shame is loving The Wiggles, this title track is probably the next best thing. There's something galling about being told to “Clap your hands if you love me/Stomp your feet if you care” past childhood. In an odd turn, Gone Away proceeds to insult numerous famous artists. Gems include, “David Bowie was a fuck-up and a fool”, and, more outrageously, “Stevie Nicks, she was jealous/Of all the boys in the band”. Miller claims to “believe in what they say”, whatever that means. His music is basic and boring.
