For those who like their lyrics simple with a bit of cheek, and their rock sounds without fuss and tedium, this is for you. Opening track, Feels Like 37 brings to mind afternoons by the pool, even a stint at a skatepark – sunshine, mates, the classic treasures, setting the tone with cruising guitars, psychedelic undertones adding to the fun and funk of the overall sound. Play It Out gives a taste of the understated garage rock the trio is becoming known for, with enough fuzz to envelop the senses, but with cleaner writing.
