With the Guns N' Roses reunion making headlines, the time might be right for a sleaze-rock revival.
That said, outside of singer Eli Reskov's shrieks and opener It Happens All The Time, long-standing rockers Devine Electric are more like The Rolling Stones than Guns N' Roses. One On One teases at a heavier, Pantera influence, while the band plunge uncharted territory on the saxophone-toting Good To See You Again. The band formed in 2005, meaning this full-length has been a long time coming, but the wait was worth every moment. Even if the rather flat production doesn't resonate with you, these songs are unforgettable.
