Album Review: Destrage - Are You Kidding Me? No.

Pete Laurie

Let’s hope there’s plenty more where Destrage came from.

Everything you need to know about Are You Kidding Me? No. can be found in
album stand-out, Hosts, Rifles & Coke. The growls and screams merge seamlessly into melodious angst in the blink of an eye. The aggression makes way for playfulness as quickly as the double-kick pedal pounds out its frantic, metronomic precision. The guitars sway from wail to crunch to noodled solos with reckless abandon. The juggernaut of instruments gloriously crash into industrial sampling and digital rage. If this is metal Italian-style, let's hope there's plenty more where Destrage came from.
