The two are very technically proficient at banjo, mandolin and fiddle, so the instrumentals are a real treat, the final track, BCBCB (Bottle Crackin’, Back Crackin’ Blues) especially.

More Davidson Brothers More Davidson Brothers

Brothers Hamish and Lachlan Davidson have long put their own Australian spin on the American tradition of bluegrass – and latest release, Wanderlust, is no exception. Travelling, leaving and returning are themes tackled both with a grin and a sigh over the course of the record. Harmonies abound on their sung tracks, ranging from the humourous Every Time I Leave and Lost In Amsterdam to the wonderfully poignant Travelling Bluebird. The two are very technically proficient at banjo, mandolin and fiddle, so the instrumentals are a real treat, the final track, BCBCB (Bottle Crackin', Back Crackin' Blues) especially.
