The relig-ulous subject matter can be almost yawningly familiar (Tempted; Don't Cry) but this second full length collaboration with English electronic duo Soulsavers is his most lucid extra-curricular effort yet. The twinkling One Thing and The Last Time's solemnity give Angels & Ghosts a Tarantino-esque cinematic quality that climaxes with impeccable restraint in closer My Sun, besting the last two Depeche albums by a broken celluloid frame.
