"Lanois produces accessible results without putting anything new on the table."

More Daniel Lanois More Daniel Lanois

Highly respected producer Daniel Lanois has invigorated the sounds of U2, Dylan and Neil Young to much acclaim but over the years he has quietly released a dreamy oeuvre of ambient music that includes collaborations with Brian Eno and Harold Budd.

As the title suggests this album finds Lanois in an electro-acoustic state of mind, working with layers of live instrumentation, samples and synthesised sound that all seamlessly blur into immersive instrumentals that lead us through vividly imagined sonic landscapes. Striking a balance between abstraction and melody Lanois produces accessible results without putting anything new on the table.
