Album Review: Daily Meds - Sour Milk

"The pieces fit together neatly."

Daily Meds are a contrasting bunch. Roleo brings the satisfying, crunchy beats. In his early days P Smurf’s enthusiasm and prodigious talent were enough to raise eyebrows. He’s since added technical prowess. In this country at least, his breath control is second to none. Billie Rose, the soaring, searing vocalist, makes for an acidic contrast to her allies. Mikeon, Pegz-like in his ability to rap softly but carry a big stick, completes the foursome. Here, whether on bouncy opener Behind The Radar, Money In The Bank (where P Smurf gets to flex memorably alongside Dialectrix), or sweet sign out Beautiful Place; the pieces fit together neatly.
