A wonderful reminder of how musicians can go beyond their own limitations.

More Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young More Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young

This supergroup was never going to last forever, but this album captured them at the height of their collective powers. Interestingly it’s the Neil Young songs that stand out the most; he adds the magic ingredient. Tracks like Helpless, Old Man and Ohio are universal songs that still sound fresh today. The live album’s audience response to these hits is clearly audible. The definitive CSNY songs are all on the album including Teach Your Children and The Lee Shore – classic acoustic folk. A wonderful reminder of how musicians can go beyond their own limitations.
