And like any hallucinogens worth their blotting paper, the trip has periods of bliss and moments where you're watching your sanity leap from the nearest cliff. The guitars are mind-melting throughout, the vocals spectacular, and the rhythm section of the Melbourne quintet can turn on a dime. Sure, the album can get lost in its own importance; however, you've got to hand it to Closure In Moscow, there are few Aussie acts flying the freak flag higher.
