Melbourne producer Christopher Port continues to set the bar pretty damn high for Australian electronic music, and somehow has lifted that bar again with his latest track, ‘Before’.
The young producer has already made a name for himself generating some seriously addictive sounds. He creates entrancing compilations of synthesised percussion and samples, so if that’s what you’re into, you’re gonna love his latest effort. The track has been plucked straight off his debut EP ‘Vetement’, which is an ensemble of the weird and wonderful world of UK Garage.
Featuring Port’s own vocals as well as eerie, warped voice samples that cleverly weave in an out of the choruses, 'Before' is an anthem of dark fantasies; a contrast of light and dark. Fellow label mate Airling also features on the track, sharing a glimmer of light as her falsetto glides through the shifting bed of beats.

‘Before’ is another beautifully assembled track from Port, and really showcases not only his insane vocals but his ability to create a platform of diversity in just four minutes.
It’s a stellar collaboration and lucky for us, we’ll be getting a taste of his unique production style sooner rather than later with Port beginning is Australian tour later this month in Sydney. Check out his dates below:
