Album Review: Channel Zero - Kill All Kings

You may have felt deprived since Belgium's thrash/groove-metal legends Channel Zero clocked off in '97, but their sixth studio release Kill All Kings is sure to jolt your eardrums back into a waxy lather.

The album thunders through 12 diverse yet cohesive tracks that showcase their technical dexterity and renewed moxie. Brutal riff thrashings juxtapose nicely with sharp, dramatic melodies, making Kill All Kings an incredibly sleek, raw and catchy offering.

Burn The Nation and the album's title track are highlights, with the stirring closing track, Heart Stop, fittingly honouring their late drummer Phil Baheux.
