Praise Caligula's Horse - Bloom is an LP full of natural twists and turns, and superior depth and cohesion.

Anchored in part by the half-time grooves that Caligula's Horse are renowned for, the record also jets off into less familiar territory. There are jazzy elements in opener Bloom, absolute compositional madness in Dragonfly and conceptual inklings in the prog behemoth Daughter Of The Mountain that show Caligula's Horse can masterfully use a record as a canvas to paint a picture of individualistic exploration. You'll be subtly in awe of the gentle closing note of Undergrowth.
