Album Review: Broozer - II

The second release from Melbourne metal outfit Broozer has the band staking their claim as one of this country’s most brutal bands.

II is vicious and unpredictable, each song taking sharp turns through elements of sludge, progressive and doom at wild signature changes and an impressive technical prowess that’s relentless from the first track. Vocalist Retch Bile compounds the record’s nightmare-riddled tones with raw vocal grinds in As The Corpse Lumbered To The Floor and Insomnia that offer utterly heavy yet distinct performances bursting with energy at every moment.
