That’s not to say that Boys Noize doesn’t make good electro music. It may just be that electro has moved on from the sound that he once pioneered.

More Boys Noize More Boys Noize

Out Of The Black is the third LP by veteran electro producer Boys Noize and is everything you would expect from an electro album. Slow building beats that get more intense as the music goes on. That feeling that you are listening to something created in outer space.

Circus Full Of Clowns featuring Gizzle is a grinding example of the producer's hip hop influence.  Rocky 2 is the perfect house club anthem. But there is something lacking from this album. Maybe it's the fact that the electro/dance genre of music has gone through a major shift of late, with the emergence of dubstep and its poster boy Skrillex. The tracks on Out Of The Black are also quite long and there is a strange collaboration with Snoop Dogg on Got It , which feels out of place.
