Barren Earth here present an expansive epic, yet concisely self-contained journey, the composition holding strong in its conceptual nature, production and execution.

On Lonely Towers will consistently give flight to the imagination with its subtle progression and gracious implementation of heavy metal conventions. There’s brutal riffing and precarious sentiment, the musicianship is skilful and highly respectable, the addition of the piano and violin adding to the maturity of what is already a record with an extremely wise atmosphere.
