Brought in with the hum of a softly-embraced accordion, Marry Song is met with rapturous applause once the audience recognises the bright, plucked acoustic guitar and piano. This is the sort of thing that makes a live album special, and Acoustic At The Ryman is chock-full of moments like this. Slow Cruel Hands Of Time sees the band at their most vulnerable, both in their songwriting and their delivery.
