Guitars shimmer and glide, knitting together a coalescing tapestry of pop mediation and manipulation.

It's been four years since Brooklyn dream-pop act Au Revoir Simone last released an album, and Move In Spectrums feels like a reinvigoration. Gone are the more experimental leanings; in its place a holistic approach. Opener, More Than, proves to be a template for the trio, floating on a sonorous sea of keys and evocative electronic beats, the vocals hushed and murmured at the forefront, a perfectly calibrated pop groove that permeates the rest of the album. Guitars shimmer and glide, knitting together a coalescing tapestry of pop mediation and manipulation.
