Live Review: Arcade Fire & Chris Milk: Summer Into Dust

Watch the new creative collaboration between Arcade Fire and Chris Milk 'Summer Into Dust'

The last time Arcade Fire worked with Chris Milk they came up with idea of people being able to personalise their experience with the music by creating The Wilderness Downtown’ – an interactive film clip for ‘We Use To Wait.’  In their new collaboration titled ‘Summer Into Dust’ the aim was completely different; the goal was to bring the band, music and crowd together as a giant art installation.

During Arcade Fire’s last song ‘Wake Up’ at Coachella hundreds of large, white balls fell onto the unsuspecting crowd.  Just when they thought that was the grand surprise, the balls began to light up and change colour depending on the music and touch creating a giant kaleidoscope effect across the crown.
