Anton Franc's second release, All This Talk, sees the four-piece delve further into their folk-influenced chamber pop sound while injecting some much-needed energy and brightness with a brass ensemble on songs like Moments and Water & Blue. While the album is still very much rooted in traditional folk-style songwriting, the dark, evocative Dust Storm proves the band still have a few tricks up their sleeves when it comes to creating huge-sounding atmospheres in their music. Overall All This Talk shows the band still refining their sound but exploring other avenues and ultimately getting closer to something unique.
