"Gill calls himself 'mildly Adelaide famous' and subsequently rises above his own title."
Amos Gill's Netflix & Gill is an honest account of one man's growing up.
Gill calls himself "mildly Adelaide famous" and subsequently rises above his own title with charismatic and uncensored tales of sexual encounters and punching above his weight. The performance is slightly stilted in that Gill isn't particularly confident with his comedic style. Jumping between brazen and referential tones becomes hard to follow at times, and the timing falters as a result. Nonetheless, Gill is a captivating storyteller who flourishes in his country-boy styling and amicable persona.
