This 11-track, third album by the Melbourne songwriter is akin to being wrapped up in a musical cocoon, with layers of instruments and voices keeping you constantly engaged within the world of alternative rock. Laucirica's gentle voice is often coupled with deep male back-up vocals, bringing out a slightly haunting and slurry sensation that swirls around you like the puffs of smoke at a shisha bar.
The penultimate and final tracks thread through with a similar theme of time, but in a different context, and finishes up with the addition of horns to its collection of instruments.
