Alex Lashlie is a very talented Singer/Songwriter from Melbourne. He's the king of constructing complex melodies; countered by breathy backing vocals and chilling hooks that come from nowhere. His lo-fi straight-forward approach to his recordings is very reminiscent of John Lennon's post-Beatles NYC period in the late 70's.
Alex has spent the last year and a half hard at work in his home recording studio and gigging frequently, holding down his famous Friday night residency at St Kilda's Pure Pop Records for over 8 months.
