The wait has been well worth it; this’ll steal your folkin’ heart.

The Moment certainly makes for a bold and provocative listen, rendering it one which is very hard to pass up.

All in all, Last Lights is a solid release and a welcome addition to the genre.

After listening to the one-time drum’n’bass producer grow increasingly abstract over the past decade, it’s really just a relief to hear him bring the ruckus with such enthusiasm.

All in all, Crow and Smith have certainly delivered another beauty of a listen, all nuance and interplay and the road less travelled – but even now, literally at least six listens in, it’s still impossible to tell you why.

If you find a certain degree of cynicism lingering after listening to Monster, and you will, just know that it is guaranteed to dissipate with the first blast of over-the-top pyrotechnics when KISS tour the record.
