Album Review: AFX - Orphaned Deejay Selek 2006-2008

Aphex Twin resurrects his AFX guise with this EP of acid-soaked, intellect-destroying bangers.

These cast offs may have been sitting on the shelf a while, but they still sound fresh and bursting with vitamins. The quality tails off midway through, but if the dynamic squelching and surreal synth washes of Serge Fenix Rendered 2 doesn't melt the limbs of open-minded ravers, the minor key madness of Oberheim Blacet1b surely will. Who wouldn't want to share a dancefloor with this ginger-bearded genius?
