Though it won’t take him back to the top, Animal Ambition has its enjoyable moments.

More 50 Cent More 50 Cent

With his G-Unit posse dissolved, his partnership with Eminem terminated and his recent sales lagging, 2014 sees 50 Cent at a crossroads. Animal Ambition finds Fiddy taking aim at a familiar target, money, with his trademark sing-songy hooks and cocky shit-talk still in effect. Taking it back to the days BT (before trap), laidback, '70s-inspired backings give Fiddy a cool OG feel with help from like minds The Lox and Prodigy. With several attempts at club bangers, only Dr Dre's synthy Smoke fails. Though it won't take him back to the top, Animal Ambition has its enjoyable moments.
