"The guys that once ruled at catchy (if unimaginative) middle-of-the-road singalong rock seem to have inched further towards Nickelback territory."

Us And The Night. Lead single In The Dark. You can draw all the conclusions you need with the effort 3 Doors Down (aka those guys who did that Kryptonite song) have put into the titles on their 37-minute sixth record.

The guys that once ruled at catchy (if unimaginative) middle-of-the-road singalong rock seem to have inched further towards Nickelback territory (Living In Your Hell) due largely to Brad Arnold's penchant for over-polished vocal layers. It's pub-rock (Believe It), to stadium choruses (The Broken), to introspective minor melodies (Pieces Of Me), and you'd derive more joy from a trip to the dentist.
