3 Course Comedy

"The crowd dove into Shafar's dirty sheets."

3 Course Comedy was like rocking up to a Tinder date and finding out its not what you thought it would be. Expecting to get a three-course delight from six comedians, it was cheap Saturday, three for the price of six. What a bargain!

The entree was a dish full of Bogans and ute jokes as Tim Hewitt served up an awkward set full of ramblings and crowd interactions, particularly with "Lee", a woman from Doubleview. The two might have hit it off but the crowd was left third-wheeling.

The main was a little tastier. Michael Shafar's jokes warmed up our insides and finally the room erupted into laughter. The crowd dove into Shafar's dirty sheets, savouring the RAW Comedy National Finalist's cheeky sexcapades.

Dessert was sweet as chocolate rugelach and comedian Sam Taunton got sweeter with every joke, even the ones about his Jewish background. The set was filled with the kind of jokes that make you feel naughty for laughing, but are so good you can't resist.

Over all it was an average dinner, where you don't know if you want to go back for seconds or not.
