As we inch closer to our tenth birthday, the Purple Sneakers DJs have thrown together their favourite tracks of 2010 for the Ten Years Of Taste Mix Series.
It's now officially Winter, which means the beaches are quiet, red wine is a must, and you're probably spending too much hard earned cash on cold & flu tablets. In lieu of a heavy blanket, allow the Purple Sneakers DJs to warm you up with the best in dance music c.2010, as part of our Ten Years Of Taste Mix Series.
An ongoing playlist segregated by eras to revisit some archived favourites, the mix series is only a small portion of what you'll be treated to at our colossal Tenth Birthday Party. Taking over the entirety of Sydney's Lord Gladstone Hotel (a former home of the Purple Sneakers club), an esteemed lineup consisting of all our friends will carry you through the night musically (with hope that the top floor of the pub doesn't collapse from too much party).
Up until this point, we've showered you in important sonic gold from the years, 2007, 2008 and 2009, so it's time to pull our socks up and hit double digits!

In 2010, the disastrous Hiati Earthquake struck, Lady Gaga rocked up to the MTV Music Awards in a dress made out of meat, Wikileaks was a thing, the final season of Lost aired and you spent / wasted a shit tonne of money [and life] playing Angry Birds on the newly released iPad.
Splendour In The Grass experienced a change of venue and curated, arguably, their biggest lineup yet (Pixies, The Strokes), Ou Est Le Swimming Pool's Charles Haddon tragically passed away, someone called James Blake emerged into the scene, and LCD Soundsystem received universal acclaim for their groundbreaking third record, This Is Happening.
For the next hour, take the time to immerse yourself in the year that was 2010, as part of our Ten Years Of Taste Mix Series.
