American punk rockers Zebrahead have just announced their first Australian tour in seven years, returning to their fans Down Under this October.
Known for their blend of rock, pop-punk, and hip-hop, Zebrahead formed in 1996 and has released 13 albums and five EPs to date. Their last album, Brain Invaders, was released in 2019. However, the band hasn’t stayed quiet, dropping four EPs since then.
Wanna Sell Your Soul? arrived in January 2020, followed by III in November 2021, II in February 2023, and I in November 2024. Returning to Australia later this year, fans can expect the band’s signature raw energy and beloved tracks like All My Friends Are Nobodies, Playmate Of The Year, Anthem, Falling Apart, The Perfect Crime, and Hell Yeah.
The tour begins at Perth’s Amplifier Bar on Tuesday, 7 October, followed by Adelaide’s Lion Arts Factory on Thursday, 9 October, Melbourne’s Max Watts on Friday, 10 October, Sydney’s Crowbar on Saturday, 11 October, and ends at Brisbane’s Crowbar on Sunday, 12 October.
The band said of their long-awaited return to Australia, “Hey Australia!!! We are finally coming back. What has it been a million years??? I hope someone brings us Vegemite!! Let’s go.”
Pre-sale tickets will be available on Monday, 19 May, at 9 am local time, followed by the general sale on Thursday, 22 May, at 9 am local time. You can find more ticketing information on The Phoenix.
