The New Zealand/New York-bred band will return Down Under this September
New Zealand/New York outfit Yumi Zouma have announced their plans to return Down Under for a pair of shows alongside some trans-ditch performances this September, preceding their antipodean sojourn by unveiling an excellent new remix of their recent cut Alena, as created by Kiwi muso Race Banyon.
The remix and shows come in the wake of their well-received EP II, itself arriving in the considerable shadow of the band's towering debut EP, though both releases have gone on to garner significant acclaim in critical and fan circles. Having graduated to high-profile support slots with the likes of Chet Faker and Lorde, you can expect the forthcoming visit to demonstrate a band in the throes of truly breaking out, so you won't want to miss bearing witness to it if you can help it.
The band's Aussie shows follow a pair of performances in New Zealand, with the group touching down in Oz to play Sydney's Goodgod Small Club on Thursday, 10 September, and Melbourne's Northcote Social Club on Friday, 11 September.
