Youth Of TodayOne of the most influential and important bands in 80s hardcore, Youth Of Today, reformed a couple of years ago after over 20 years of inactivity, allowing younger fans of the band a chance to see the straight-edge, positive hardcore legends in the flesh for the very first time.
While that's been all well and good for fans of the band in other countries, Australia has yet to be given the chance to see the band, but that all changes this July with the band recently announced as one of the headliners for Sydney's always awesome Hardcore 2013.
For those in other parts of the country, this morning's announcement that the band would be hitting plenty of other parts of the country while they're here is very exciting indeed. The band is currently made up of original vocalist Ray Cappo and guitarist John Porcelly, with relative newcomers Ken Olden and Vinny Panza making up the rest of the group.
