The forthcoming David Bowie biopic Stardust has today released the first image of the actor portraying the legendary artist.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Johnny Flynn will portray Bowie during his first trip to the US as a pre-fame 24-year-old in 1971.
Flynn, who also performs with folk rock band Johnny Flynn & The Sussex Wit, has previously acted in shows like Genius, Song One, Love Sick, Vanity Fair and more.
Flynn will be joined by Jena Malone as Bowie's first wife Angie and Marc Maron as publicist Rob Oberman.
The film is produced by Salon Pictures, and will be directed by Gabriel Range, who is known for his work on Death Of A President, I Am A Slave and more.
