Young Thug has cancelled his upcoming Australian tour and appearance at Sydney City Limits due to visa issues.

Announced this afternoon, the Atlanta rapper has cancelled his headline show in Melbourne and pulled out of his Brisbane co-headline show with Future.

His appearance at Sydney City Limits has also been cancelled with Adelaide rapper Tkay Maidza to fill the slot

“Unfortunately, Young Thug has been unable to comply with the requirements for processing his Australian entry visa application and this has now made it impossible to secure visa approval in time for Young Thug to travel from the USA in time to appear at Sydney City Limits,” Live Nation said in a statement.

Refunds for the Melbourne show will be issued automatically, while the Brisbane show will go ahead as a Future headline show with punters being issued a partial refund and the price of remaining tickets reduced.

This is the second time Young Thug has cancelled an Australian tour with him pulling out of his Laneway run last year.
