A young music fan attending the Toronto, Canada date of the annual Vans Warped Tour at Molson Ampitheatre has died earlier today. The girl was enjoying a set from Chelsea Grin at the festival's Monster Energy Stage when she collapsed unexpectedly at around midday.
Frantic onlookers called emergency services and attempted CPR on the girl until paramedics arrived. She was rushed to Toronto Western Hospital without a pulse, but was pronounced dead. The identity of the girl and her exact cause of death are yet to be revealed.
The Monster Energy Stage was closed for the remainder of the day. The organisers of the event are yet to release a statement.
