Young Franco is back, this time dropping a dance pop banger in collaboration with Nigerian Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Kah-Lo, called Stunt Like This. The track oozes swagger, with Young Franco’s sharp beats paired perfectly to Kah-Lo’s commanding vocals.
The Brisbane DJ shared in a press release that he’d been wanting to team up with his collaborator for a while now: “I’ve been a huge fan of Kah-Lo forever. I think she’s one of the most talented artists out there.”
The feeling seems to be mutual, with Kah-Lo sharing that “working with an artist like Young Franco is always refreshing, he truly has a unique ear.”
The pair met late last year, when Kah-Lo was touring Australia. And, according to Young Franco, the end-of-year heat contributed to how easily Stunt Like This was created: “I think summer in Australia is always an amazing time, the weather is usually pretty great so everyone’s feeling really good. I think that’s why the song came so quickly.”
Stunt Like This premiered on BBC Radio 1 with Jack Saunders this morning, and is available on all streaming services now.

This isn’t Young Franco’s first collaboration. The Brisbane DJ and producer isn’t afraid to go global, most recently collaborating with British producer p-rallel and American singer-songwriter Dana Williams on Sing It Back, which dropped last month.
It seems like there may be more features to come, considering Young Franco was joined on-stage by Piri from dance-pop duo Piri & Tommy and English rapper Scrufizzer for a performance of two unreleased tracks, during his concert at the Village Underground in London.
