Australian singer-songwriter Xavier Rudd has signed with Los Angeles-based punk label Side One Dummy Records. Rudd's forthcoming seventh album, which is the follow-up to 2010's "Koonum Sun", will be entitled "Spirit Bird". 

Australian singer-songwriter Xavier Rudd has signed with Los Angeles-based punk label Side One Dummy Records. Rudd's forthcoming seventh album, which is the follow-up to 2010's "Koonyum Sun", will be entitled "Spirit Bird".


Side One has put up pre-orders for the record here, which is set for release on June 5. Rudd's new single "Follow The Sun" is also now available via iTunes and other online music retailers. The video for the song, filmed on Queensland's Stradbroke Island, can be seen below.
