American indie-pop and rock duo Wye Oak have announced a couple of Australian headline shows to go with their upcoming appearance for Sydney Festival.

The Baltimore pairing of Jenn Wasner and Andy Stack will perform at Melbourne's The Gasometer on Saturday 10 January and at the Black Bear Lodge, Brisbane the following night. Tickets are available now and you can find the info in theGuide and The Music App.

Wye Oak released their fourth studio album Shriek earlier this year and the LP marked a new direction for the band, with a more dream-pop, synth sound explored than on their previous releases.
